Patty, Delightful to hear from you. I knew it was a "blast from the past" when I saw "Danny" being evoked! When I joined Actor's Equity fifty years ago I had to alter my name as they already had a "Danny Thomas" in the union; ergo, D. Paul Thomas for the past half-century. Wonderful to see that you and Keith are still active in ministry. I'll pay you a visit if I get over your way; please do the same if you come to Indianapolis. I remember well those rich days at Denver First! Stay strong, and... Pressing On! Danny
Thank you for your reply. I added "Danny" in hopes you might remember us after all these years. I was saddened to hear of Shari's passing. We were in the same class at ONC...Do you remember the art work of your uncle ...the painting of Jesus smiling? We bought three of them from Shari...still have them. We have watched Noble Vision and Of Things Past this week. Is the story of KiKi perhaps of the KiKi we knew at DFC? If not, it is very similar. Kiki was the little child of a fellow staff member....in a horrific auto accident....injured severely....after prayer....healing. I promise not to take up space, here. I am just excited to "find" you, again, and I am very blessed by your podcasts. God bless you. P&K.
Thank you, D Paul (Danny) for this beautiful podcast about Divine Appointments...My heart is warmed at hearing you sing and admonish your listeners. I remember you as a vibrant young high school student and, later, a fellow student, at ONC (ONU)....then, years later, you came to our church (Denver First Naz where Keith was minister of music) and presented your one man drama. This week I have been captivated by the story of Esther Carson Winans and watched, again, The Calling. When I saw your name in the credits I decided to google you!.....I am thrilled you are using your gifts/talents for the kingdom of God. Thank you!. Keep going and finish well! PS I recall accompanying you as you sang "Down From His Glory".....precious memories. God bless you! Patty (Larrison) & Keith Showalter
What a great reminder about the divine appointments of God! Christ is at work in many unusual ways that confirm His leading in our lives. Thanks, D Paul, for your continuing ministry in areas that are needed today.
Keep singing and looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame and has set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 Have a blessed Lent Season...
